Dr. Ramon Molina Lijauco, Jr. is an international vocal and choral consultant and is based both in the Philippines and Thailand conducting two world renowned choruses, Philippine Meistersingers (Choir of the World in the 2011 Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, receiving the Luciano Pavarotti Trophy) and Suanplu Chorus of Thailand (a recent participant to the 55th Tolosa Choral Competition in Spain).

 

He obtained his Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting, (magna cum laude), at St. Paul University Manila, where he also graduated Masters of Music in Choral Conducting, (summa cum laude). He finished his Bachelor of Music degree from the Adventist University of the Philippines in 1997 right after finishing his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1994.

 

He is the recipient of the 2020 Jayne Davis Prize (Most Outstanding Conductor) in the United Kingdom and the 2020 Ani Ng Dangal for Music.

 

As conductor and choral clini He is a choral adjudicator, a board member and Vice President for Finance for the Philippine Choral Directors Association, board member of the Treble Choir Association of the Philippines, co-founder of the Thailand Society for Choral Excellence, and a member of thé International Federation for Choral Music.
